Who are we?
We're just like you. We grew up in the suburbs; we stole things and lit things on fire when we were kids; we started drinking way too early, and probably smoke too much for our own good. We enjoy a good puff, we like a good movie, and we love the thought of combining the two. We just so happen to have seen a lot of movies while high; enough to make us feel like we could do a service to the rest of the pot-smoking world that may not have heard of Class of Nuke 'Em High or The Last Starfighter. We also happen to have the ability to make a kick ass website, as well as write well enough for our fellow stoners to get the gist of any given movie.
Why a site?
It started as an idea: the majority of movie critics out there are closed-minded and may not represent everyone's opinion. A top critic in the country said that Grandma's Boy was "as aimless and pointless as a joke told while stoned." He was one of 15 out of 16 so called "top critics" on the biggest movie review database site on the web to bash it. We don't know about you, but that's one of our favorite movies; pretty much everyone we know loves it too. We gave Grandma's Boy a 5-Pot Leaf rating and a one way ticket to our list of "best movies ever." We've had a lot of good movie experiences that were made that way due to our use of everyone's favorite green plant. We've always been very critical of the movies we've devoted our time (and weed) to. If it's good, we praise; if it's not, we hate. The internet is the best way to convey our message to the pot-smoking world.

Every single one of our reviewers here at SMC has a college degree, and every review will be a grammatically correct, concise read. Every reviewer has seen every movie on the site, as well as read every review on the site; whether they wrote it or not. You as the reader can expect real, true-to-life reviews on movies that we feel you should watch. Our goal is to give you an easy read that will give you an idea of the movie without giving too much of it away. You can expect the reviews to be written just as though you were talking to us in person and we were describing the movie to you. We're genuine people, and we wanna have a genuine website.

In the hopeful future: user reviews, membership login/updates, RSS feeds, affiliate links, ads, sponsors, and partners are all great goals; but for now, we're gonna have some fun, smoke some herb, watch some movies, and share our thoughts with the world.
